Jeep
The customer supplied a custom tube chassis LJ Wrangler for me to finish. My work has included skinning the chassis with miles of silicon bronze TIG welding, building several custom tanks and plumbing systems, adding tabs and mounting points throughout, and modifying the fiberglass body panels to fit the finished chassis.

Body Fitment and Cockpit Progress
More progress on the Jeep as the body fitment and interior layout start coming together. The fiberglass front clip and side panels are taking shape around the tube chassis, and the proportions of the full build are finally starting to show.
Inside, the custom aluminum dash, center console, shifter layout, and switch panel are all beginning to look like a finished cockpit instead of a pile of separate parts. It still needs plenty of final work, but the structure, stance, and overall direction of the build are getting much easier to see now.

Little Details
A few of the smaller details coming together on the Jeep build — the recessed license plate pocket welded into the rear body, a frenched-in round LED taillight with a flush license plate light housing below it, and the custom aluminum coolant overflow tank tucked into the chassis next to the exhaust and intake plumbing. Little touches like these are what tie the whole build together.

Custom Fabricated Aluminum Dash
Fabricated a custom aluminum dash for the tube-chassis LJ. The panel is built to house the gauges, switches, and the PRP steering wheel setup while tying cleanly into the roll cage and cockpit layout. Still in progress, but the shape and mounting points are coming together nicely.

Grafting Factory Door Sills Into the Custom Tube Chassis
Blending the factory Wrangler door sills into the custom tube chassis so the OEM doors mount and seal like they came from the factory. Preserving the stock door geometry keeps the original hinges, latches, and weatherstripping intact while the rest of the vehicle is fully custom underneath.
The sill sections were cut from a donor tub, trimmed to match the tube work, and welded in — tying the sheet metal into the chassis with continuous seams for a clean, finished look.

Working Within Factory Dimensions
This was a fun build — constrained by factory dimensions, we ended up with some unique modifications to maintain a clean build. Fitting a full tube chassis, twin-turbo drivetrain, and long-travel coilovers inside the original Wrangler footprint meant every panel, shock tower, and clearance notch had to be custom-shaped around the OEM body lines.
The result is a set of tight, purpose-built aluminum panels and gussets that wrap the suspension and driveline without giving up the factory stance or proportions.
